A small collection of material relating to the 8th Vermont Infantry Regiment. Correspondence includes a letter addressed to Lieutenant Colonel Henry F. Dutton, dated February 7, 1864, regarding officers' commissions, including his own, and whether the Regiment would re-enlist, and another letter, addressed to Major John L. Barstow, dated May 22, 1864, regarding the term of enlistment for three men who had transferred out of the 8th Vermont. Also included in the collection are three clothing returns for Company K, dated November 30, 1863.
